We had a good turn up

and I thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie and ride this weekend.
It was bright and sunny when we left Officer and sun glare was an issue for the first hour or so.
I did manage to throw in a "U turn practice" while varying the route to go past

Yallourn Power Station.
We had a rest / cuppa break at Heyfield and then rode on via backroads and several commented on the farming country around Lindenow but I couldn't find a safe place to stop the group and therefore - no photo. After Sarsfield, we took a diversion via Tambo Upper which has some great roads and scenery before meeting up with Paul at Bruthen and having lunch.
Then it was up the Great Alpine Road and Tambo River to Omeo before taking an alterative route via

Anglers Rest and

the high country,

and Falls Creek to Mount Beauty where we topped for fuel before

settling in at Tawonga for the night.
Les and Pat met us there and we all enjoyed dinner

and lots of camaraderie and banter as the night wore on.
This morning

we rode north briefly and then bid farewell to Jeremy, Les, Mike, Pat and Steve who turned off and set odd on their own ride to Armidale NSW to join the Club National Rally.
The rest of us continued to Yackandandah but encountered a festival so rode on to

Beechworth for breakfast. We rode up the hill to Stanley and enjoyed the scenery and orchards along the way.
After a quick fuel stop at Myrtleford, we rode the Snow Road and then a bit of freeway down to Euroa where we took a bit of a break. After that it was back roads to Yea and then on home.
I did over 900 km and importantly had a great time with fellow Ulysseans.
Thanks to all who came along and special mention to Steve who did TEC duty both days.
